Patient Centered IT blogs and discusses (and hopes to make sense of) some of the topics and concepts that are related to the use of information technology in patient centered care and healthcare delivery in general. But why another term ? Are Health 2.0 and eHealth or Telemedicine or something not enough ? They are. My observation is that these concepts are sometimes too much attention on technology and its application in the healthcare domain without clear focus. Healthcare has a clear focus that is the health and wealth of the patient. Patient Centered IT collects some motivations and ideas from Patient Centered Care with all these technologies in mind.  Patient Centered IT blogs some news and discusses benefits of information technology for the patient in his transition to take charge of his or her health situation.
